OAO Research

Welcome to the Ontario Association for Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO) Research Page.

This page is developed and maintained by the OAO Research Committee. The Committee is made up of volunteer members who collaborate to promote research as it relates to the efficacy of osteopathy, evidence-based clinical practice, patient-centred practice, and influence on patient health and wellbeing. If you have any suggestions or would like to become a member of the committee, please contact the OAO Cessy Muenker

Our goals include, but are not limited to:

  • Profiling research relevant to the practice of osteopathy for members and members of the public.
  • Raising awareness of and promoting research opportunities in Ontario, Canada, and internationally.
  • Providing resources for osteopathic practitioners to engage with research and evidence-based practices.

We welcome feedback on the Research Page. Members please use the OAO Members Forum  for suggestions and discussion.
