Role: Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (Students welcome to apply)Location: Milton, ON
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Osteopathic Manual Practitioner to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in pregnancy and babies, along with experience working with women during pregnancy and postpartum. Previous experience working with babies is desirable.
Responsibilities: - Provide osteopathic manual therapy to clients, with a focus on pregnancy and postpartum care
- Conduct thorough assessments to understand client's needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Educate clients on osteopathic principles, techniques, and self-care practices to support their health and well-being
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with professional standards and clinic policies
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge in prenatal and postnatal care
Qualifications: - Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (OAO or equivalent)
- Experience working with women during pregnancy and postpartum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and client-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Strong Interest and/or experience working with babies (preferred)
